Gettysburg Golf Trail Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 2, 2026
Gettysburg Golf Trail respects your privacy. This page explains what we collect, why, who we share it with and the choices you have. Gettysburg Golf Trail is part of the GolfTrips.com network of golf travel sites.
Information You Give Us
We only collect personal information when you choose to send it to us:
- Golf package and custom quote requests: your name, email address, phone number, destination or package of interest, travel dates, number of golfers, and the courses and lodging you want.
- Golfer accounts and course reviews: your name, email address and screen name, plus the reviews and ratings you post. Approved reviews are shown publicly with your screen name (or name) and the date. Your email address is never shown.
- Contact form: your name, email address and message.
- Email newsletters: your email address, if you sign up.
Information Collected Automatically
When you submit a form we record your IP address and the time, to stop spam and abuse. We also count page views and clicks on listings and ads (without tying them to you by name) so we can show courses and partners how their listings perform.
How We Use and Share Your Information
- To answer your request. When you ask about a golf package or request a quote, we send your request to the golf course, resort, destination or golf package company you asked about so they can contact you directly with pricing and booking details. That is the point of the request, and it is the only reason we pass your information to them.
- To publish your reviews after a moderator approves them.
- To send newsletters you signed up for. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.
- To keep the sites safe from spam and abuse.
We do not sell or rent your personal information.
Cookies
Cookies are small files your browser stores for a website. We use them to keep you signed in to your golfer account and to remember simple settings. Our partners below also set cookies.
Advertising
We show ads from Google AdSense and from golf partners. Google and its partners use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet. You can turn off personalized ads at Google Ads Settings, and learn more at how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can also opt out of many ad networks at aboutads.info.
Other Services on Our Pages
Some pages include content from other companies, and those companies receive your IP address and may set their own cookies when the content loads:
- Facebook page feeds on some listings
- YouTube and Vimeo videos (YouTube plays in its privacy-enhanced mode)
- Issuu, for our online guides
- Maps from Google Maps and OpenFreeMap
Their own privacy policies apply to what they collect.
Your Choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings (look under Privacy or Settings in Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox). Some features, like signing in to post reviews, will not work without them. To see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to have a review taken down, contact us and we will take care of it.
Children
Our sites are for adults planning golf travel. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
